Arezzo“ La Casa di Louise” allows an immediate and easy access to the splendid town of Arezzo, famous for his medieval architecture and the Giostra del Saracino. Buildings and unique places to visit are Piazza Grande, Piazza San Francesco, the Cathedral and the Fortress, recently restored. The first Sunday of each month the city hosts the Antiques Fair.
SienaIn the heart of Tuscany, 45 minutes from our location, stands the medieval city of Siena. Famous for Piazza del Campo, where the Palio takes place, and the historic center, declared World Heritage by UNESCO.The city hosts many distinctive buildings of the region, religious and not: the Cathedral of Siena, the Torre del Mangia, Porta Tufi and many others.
LucignanoReached fairly quickly from the nearby highway in San Zeno, Lucignano is a typical medieval village that sits on top of a hill.
Particularly interesting are the well preserved walls, built during the domination of Siena, the Medici fortress, built in the next period of Florentine domination and municipal museums, which feature works from the XIII to the XVIII century.
In Spring takes place the Maggiolata, a traditional festival in which four districts compete by running off flower-covered chariots.
